An introduction: The first 10 weeks

Now that I'm 10 weeks old... and really starting to form an opinion about things, I figured it was time to start sharing my experiences on a blog.  This way my friends and family that are spread throughout the country can share my adventures with me, even if I don't get to see them very often.

Since I waited so long to start this blog (is it really the end of July already?!) I wanted to play a little catch-up and post pictures and videos of the last 2.5 months... especially for all of the Meitl family in Illinois, California, Arizona, and everywhere else.  Can't wait to meet all of you in person!!  You're just going to love me.

Here's me in the verrrrry beginning.  I was SO little.  Just 6lbs and 6oz!

Look how much personality I had, even in the first week!!

By one month I had grown to 8lbs 13oz and my legs were just starting to fill out a bit.  Maybe my cheeks too.

At this point in life my favorite place to be is on my mommy or my daddy.  They are so warm and cozy, can you blame me?

At 5 weeks the humidity finally let up enough for mama and me to sit in the yard and listen to the birds in the trees.  I liked it, but I loved my fist the most.  I'm so determined to find my thumb!

6 weeks, forth of July pic-a-nic in an outfit my grandpa Lenny picked out for me:

At 7 weeks I decided it was time to begin accessorizing.

At 8 weeks mommy's dear friend Melissa took some pictures of me because mama was feeling bad that the only pictures she had taken so far were from her iphone.  I think Melissa made me look so beautiful.  What do you think?  I'll do a separate post with more from this photo shoot.

At 9 weeks mama tried to take a few pics of her own.  She needs a camera that's nicer like Melissa's.  Hey daddy, mama needs a camera that's nicer like Melissa's ;)

At 10 weeks (that's now!) Melissa snapped a couple more of me.  I've really got this smiling thing down at this point.

Ok, that's good enough for the initial "catching up" post.  Enjoy!!
