Vacations for Everyone!

This past weekend mommy and daddy took a mini vacation to the beach.... without me!  It was mommy's very first time leaving me over night.  I had it made though, grannie Annie and grandpa Lenny came and played with me the whole time my parents were gone.  It was like a vacation for everyone!

Since no one would believe it without documented proof... here's a picture of grandpa Lenny helping with the dirty work.

I climbed through the jungle of dining room chairs...

And sat on grandpa while he napped.  This is our own version of Hop on Pop.

Olivia spent some of the weekend with me.  I learned that my pool is just as much fun empty as it is full.

Unfortunately I don't know the story behind this picture and my silly expression.  Someone's going to have to ask grannie!

I know what's going on here though... I'm snacking on cheerios...

Om nom nom... cram them in!

Here are my favorite pics of the weekend... better late than never, grannie and grandpa brought me a WAGON for my birthday.  I love it!!  Olivia pulled me around the block and grannie pulled Olivia AND me around the block!!  Grannie said she felt like a mule, hehe.

Grannie was given directions not to give me a bath.  Mommy knows how slippery my little hiney is in the tub and she wasn't ready to be four hours away if I slipped.  Grannie thought she wouldn't get in too much trouble if she gave me a bath in two inches of water in the kitchen sink.  We had it under control... and Olivia documented the whole thing :)

Well, they say it takes a village!  Joy was the designated story reader... getting me wound down for the evening.

I'm a lucky little nugget to have so much family to gather around me when my parents are away.  I had SO much fun, but was pretty glad to have mommy and daddy back home in the end.  Vacations are great, but the normal days are still my favorite.
