Making a Splash in the Kitchen

Mommy went out with miss Melissa tonight so daddy got me ready for bed.  He gave me a bath... in the kitchen sink!!

Eleven Months

Eleven months old!  I STILL only have two bottom teeth.  I'm finally crawling with my belly off the ground, and I'm pulling up on and walking along everything I can.  I haven't seen the likes of a paci in over a month, which means transitioning to naps has become a little tougher, but I'm still sleeping like a champ at night.  I love to pull wipes out of the wipes container, books off of the bookshelf, and anything and everything out of mama's purse.  Daddy taught me to play catch, stack blocks, and put away my toys.  Sometimes I think it's fun and I do it with him, but other times I act like I have no clue what he's talking about.  I'm less gentle with the kitties every day and mama doesn't seems to appreciate that, neither do the kitties.  I've pinched my fingers in my car seat, the kitchen cabinets, and the collapsing tv tray.  There are many of risks involved in exploring.  I weigh 17 lbs 6 oz and I'm still in 9 month clothes, but I've started to thin out in my face a bit and look more like a big girl every day.  

It's Not Always a Happy Ending

First of all, why is my video sideways?  Pooh. 

I'm getting really good and pushing my walker around, whizzing back and forth in the living room, but not without a few head bonks along the way.  It's all part of the process.  

Easter 2012

Saturday night church service... lots of worship, lots of baptisms!

An easter basket made out of a sun bonnet... and it had tooth brushes in it!

And we ended the day with a pic nic with mommy and daddy's friends and all the babies (and baby bellies).  

Springtime with Olivia

I just love when Olivia comes over to play with me.  I love it SO much that I decided to skip my afternoon nap so I could spend more time with her.  She's beautiful and fun and I can tell that she loves me a lot.  I crawled around the front yard in the sunshine while she climbed the tree.  I like to climb too, but right now I just climb the arm of the couch.  I'm taking notes from Olivia though.

Social Butterfly

Mommy and I met Jen Jen for breakfast this morning and the nice man that works there gave me an eat-more-chicken cow!  Aunt Jen made him kiss my face so many times that just looking at him made me squint my eyes and wrinkle of up nose.  This made Jen laugh at me.  

Then, after a nice nap, we met miss Tiffany at her house for lunch!  I took my first ride on a hammock and it was pretty scary, but fun.

I Squeak Like my Momma

Mama squeals with delight at so many things that I do, that I have started to pick up the habit myself.  Also... "dada" may have been my first sound, but "mama" is the first word I've said back on demand.  This way each of the parents have something they can brag about.  I'm an equal opportunity baby.

Letting in Some Fresh Air

Mommy took this video to show that I learned how to close my window after she opens it.  Much to her surprise, though, I started opening the window all by myself too!  New tricks every day, my friends.
